Power of co-creating business vision

    context

    The Organization kickstarted few years back and was profitable as they were able to win large clients.  

    Solution

    They did not get the sense of One team and did not have a common story line to share with their existing clients, prospects and employees.

    approach

    During the discussions, we realized it was critical that the CEO along with his team articulates their Vision and brainstorm what Values are required for the organization to reach their vision. ​

    We drove a 8 hours Lab with the CEO, his core leadership and volunteers across various levels in the organization.  In the first 3 hours, they were able to brainstorm, define, refine their vision and put it up for everyone to have a common direction.  We could sense the energy levels within the group raising up.  ​The next part of the Lab was to brainstorm in smaller groups the behaviours that the team should sustain and the new behaviours that they should build on to reach the Vision.  After multiple rounds of in-depth discussion, they finalized the top 6 values and articulated it in detail that would lead the employees and thereby the organization to the defined vision. ​

    To ensure the message goes our strongly they created the Vision in Action by role playing real case scenarios that the organization faces day to day.

    OUTCOME

    A clearly defined Vision and Values that the organization today uses in their communication with clients and employees.  They know how close they are to their dream and the Vision statement helps them in celebrating their wins or pulling up their actions. Values that are articulated and measured through various people processes.  The organization uses common language to hold each other accountable.  Buy-in from employees across the board as they co-created the Vision and Values.
