    context

    The Luxury goods store chain was at the top of their game and their India center was contributing heavily towards this success.  However, the India Centre was perceived as an Order Taker and Not a Partner.

    challenges

    Since the team was not considered as Partners, they were not playing a role in defining the Organization’s direction and strategy.  They also felt under confident and behaved like order takers 

    solution

    In a 4 day workshop, the BU Head and his core team members built the Vision for the organization, explored the current enablers and disablers and created a roadmap to take them to the desired vision.  They created action plans around building credibility for themselves and the team, being viewed as experts and impacting the overall business. Post this, a 6 weeks team coaching sessions were designed and facilitated to enable and sustain the mindset change and the “What” and on the “How” of their action. 

    impact

    Relationships with Counterparts significantly improved, India team is being looked at as experts and partners in achieving the macro-goals.  Changes in the Organization structure where the India team was given more control and strategic positions.
